Privacy Policy

JEMS ("we", "us", "JEMS") operates justjems.com and the JEMS mobile app — a discovery tool and AI concierge for stays in Jamaica. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using JEMS you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Account details — if you create an account, your email address and authentication data (handled by our auth provider, Supabase).
• Your activity in the app — saved/favorited stays and the messages you send to the AI concierge, so we can return relevant suggestions. Favorites are stored on your device and, if signed in, associated with your account.
• Basic technical data — device type, browser, and general usage, used to keep the service working and improve it.

What we do NOT do

JEMS does not sell accommodations or process payments. We never collect or store your payment-card details. When you choose to book, you leave JEMS for a third-party travel partner who handles the transaction under their own privacy policy.

Affiliate links & third parties

JEMS earns commissions when you book through partner links, at no extra cost to you. To make this work we use:

• Travelpayouts and travel partners (e.g. Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Aviasales, Klook, Airalo) — when you click a booking/flight/eSIM link, the partner may set cookies to attribute the referral. Those partners process your data under their own policies.
• Supabase — account and data storage.
• RevenueCat — manages optional subscriptions, if you purchase one.
• An AI provider — processes the messages you send the concierge to generate responses.

Your choices & rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — including deleting your account — at any time. Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or follow the steps on our account & data deletion page. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA) you may have additional rights, which we honor.

Children

JEMS is intended for adults (18+) planning travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
